The Australian Psychological Society Limited: New initiative //

Whilst employed at the APS I was assigned the task of branding a new initiative for the organisation, named the Psychologically Healthy Workplace Program.

Design involved developing concepts for a new logo, through to complete brand development across a promotional suite of products (pull-up banners, brochures, decals, corporate folders, stationery items, Microsoft templates), writing a corporate style guide, exhibition design, and consultancy on website design (working together with external web agency to launch an online presence, in-keeping with the corporate identity of the new brand).

The design of this new initiative needed to sit as an independent entity, whilst maintaining a connection to the parent brand. Careful design was required to assign an identity that incorporated elements of the APS logotype (colour, typeface) whilst ensuring the logotype for the program was recognizably different. The brief involved developing a logotype that could dual as a ‘seal’: this would be provided to companies in recognition of their involvement in the program.
